Από τη στιγμή που γεννιέσαι μέχρι να φτάσεις στο σημείο να διαβάζεις και να καταλαβαίνεις αυτά που βλέπεις τώρα, έχουν μεσολαβήσει τόσα πολλά… Ερωτήσεις και φαινόμενα που αργότερα θεωρούμε δεδομένα έχοντας ξεχάσει να απορούμε.

Κάθε επίσκεψη είναι μία μοναδική εμπειρία εξερεύνησης πειραμάτων φυσικής και όχι μόνο. Τα πειράματα είναι χωρισμένα σε τέσσερις θεματικές, με βάση τέσσερις από τις αισθήσεις μας: αφή, ισορροπία, ακοή και όραση. Λόγω του μεγάλου αριθμού των πειραμάτων, στις επισκέψεις ακολουθούνται διαδρομές που καθεμία περιλαμβάνει επιλεγμένα πειράματα, με τρόπο ώστε να εξερευνούμε λίγο από την κάθε αίσθηση.

Κάθε πείραμα και μία βιωματική εμπειρία που προσδοκά να σε ταξιδέψει στη μαγεία της εξερεύνησης. Μια ευκαιρία να απορήσουμε για αρχές και φαινόμενα της καθημερινής ζωής αλλά και για το πως λειτουργεί ο κόσμος και η αντίληψή μας.

Πολύ ωραίος χώρος εκπαιδευτικός και διαδραστικός. Έξυπνες διατάξεις, φαινόμενα ζωντανά μπροστά στα μάτια του επισκέπτη που ενεργοποιούν τις αισθήσεις του. Φυσική μέσα από διάδραση ζωντάνια και παραστατικότητα

Do yourself a favor and spend a couple hours doing fun little experiments. Your kids will love it and you will also learn a thing or two. Definitely some forgotten things will resurface from your memory. Learning is fun and we all stand to benefit from reminding ourselves of this. Another thing on our list for next summer vacation in Chania.

Amazing experience at Sci-sence with Alexis! He was so friendly and informative, showing us all the experiments. I went with my husband and we weren't sure before going if it would be aimed more at children but definitely suitable for all ages! If you are interested in science and how the world works, I highly recommend. We only did the first set of experiments out of 6 and were there for approx 2 hours. Der Betreiber bietet insgesamt 7 Pfade mit ganz unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen und Experimenten an. Wir waren jetzt zweimal dort und hatten beide Male sehr viel Spaß. Wissenschaftliche Vorgänge werden gut und unterhaltsam erklärt, Fragen werden beantwortet und die Besucher angeregt eigene Schlussfolgerungen zu ziehen und das Erlernte anzuwenden. Man merkt dem Betreiber seine Liebe für das was er tut sehr an und diese Leidenschaft wirkt ansteckend. Beim letzten Besuch hatte ich bei der Buchung leider den falschen Tag angeklickt, so dass der Betreiber umsonst auf uns wartete, was der uns aber überhaupt nicht übel nahm. Das Sci-Sense ist für alle Altersklassen geeignet. Für Kinder halte ich es besonders geeignet, da sie dort die Erfahrung machen, dass Lernen viel Spaß machen kann und sie die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse auch auf ihren Alltag übertragen können. Unbedingt besuchen, wenn man in Chania ist, zumal der Preis von 10€ wirklich sehr fair ist und man in den zwei Stunden viel geboten bekommt.

Ένα διαμάντι στην πόλη μας !!! Ένα βιωματικό εργαστήρι με καταξιωμένους επαγγελματίες ( φυσικούς εν προκειμένω) . Η Φυσική γίνεται ταξίδι ανακάλυψης… η κόρη μου παρακολουθεί αδιάκοπα επι ένα χρόνο χωρίς καμία απουσία κ με απίστευτο ενδιαφέρον τα μαθήματα που γίνονται εβδομαδιαίως!! Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα για μαθητές αλλά και σχολεία για επίσκεψη !

Λοιπόν, ήξερα για τον χώρο, αλλά νόμιζα ότι ήταν πειράματα φυσικής για μικρά παιδιά. Αλλά όχι, υπάρχει ξενάγηση και εξήγηση των φαινομένων και σε ενήλικες, παίρνεις την εμπειρία και η θεωρία βγαίνει ως συμπέρασμα. Είναι φανταστικό!!!! Τα παιδιά βέβαια μπορούν να φτιάξουν και τα δικά τους συστήματα και να μπουν σε ένα κόσμο, όπου στο σχολείο τον μαθαίνουμε αποκλειστικά στη θεωρία. Το Sci.Sence το συστήνω για όλους. Για μικρούς και μεγάλους!!!

Yesterday, on a rainy wintersday, we (a family from Switzerland) visited Sci sense in Chania. The owner, a physicist from Crete, has put together a very impressive number of science experiments which are all related to human senses. The different experiments can be done by the visitors, after having been explained and introduced by the owner. Some surprising results, not only for kids but also for us as adults awaited us! The experiments are explained one after the other in a form of a guided tour, which is very helpful for understanding. The guided tour should be pre-booked to make sure that there is a timeslot available at the desired time. The building isn't a huge impersonal modern hall as you might know from other science centers around the world. But the experiments are all set up with care and nicely put together to a  compelling story. Our daughter was 5.5 years old at the time of the visit. This was certainly on the young side, but she still enjoyed it a lot and certainly learned a few things about the fascinating world around us as well! :-) Thanks again to the friendly owner for this great experience!
